Direct Deposit Payroll

This FREE service allows you to have all or part of your paycheck or your entire Social Security, military retirement or pension check or other recurring payments sent directly to your NuVista account(s). It's also the easiest way to set up an automatic savings program or to repay a NuVista loan, and it may reduce the interest you pay on your loan.

To begin Direct Deposit, stop by YOUR Human Resource Office or payroll office and request a Direct Deposit Authorization Form. The following information will help you in filling out their form:

  • Depository Name: NuVista Federal Credit Union
  • Department: Operations
  • Phone Number: (970) 249-8813
  • Address: 2711 Commercial Way, Montrose, CO 81401
  • Transit/ABA No.: 302177110
  • Member Name: Your name as it appears on your statement

Important:

  • If you wish that your Direct Deposit is to go to your savings account, please list your account number as it appears on your statement (including zeros).
  • If you wish that your Direct Deposit is to go to your checking account, please list the draft ID that is located on the center bottom portion of your checks.

To set up Direct Deposit of your Social Security check, call the Social Security office on their toll-free number, (800) 772-1213. They will ask for the account information provided above.

ACH Services

ACH transactions are commonly used for direct deposits or for automatic payments from your account. ACH credits come from employers and government agencies. ACH payments go to insurance companies, utilities, telephone companies, and more.

Who, or what, is behind this efficient, reliable and secure method of payment exchange? It's a not for profit organization called the National Automated Clearing House Association (NACHA). They oversee the ACH network, which is one of the largest payment systems in the world.

NuVista members are no exception when it comes to using the ACH network for debits and credits to their accounts. We have numerous transactions made through our system daily.
