It is never too early to start saving! NuGeneration Youth Savings accounts were created to make saving simple for children ages 0-17! Don't forget to bring your parents or legal guardian with you to open your account.
Low minimum balance
Minimum balance of $5.00 is required to open and maintain your Share in NuVista.
No monthly service charge
Keep your account open with no monthly fees, making it easy for kids to start saving.
Six convenient transactions per month
Limited to six convenient transactions per month (a convenient transaction is an online transfer, phone transfer or ACH payment).
Monthly dividends
Dividends compounded monthly and credited to the account monthly, helping savings grow over time.
DREAM 12-Month Share Certificate
We are excited to announce our DREAM 12-month Share Certificate! Designed for kids and teens 17 and under, this share certificate offers great rates, personalized financial coaching, and the opportunity to earn free deposits of $25-$50 into the share account by completing "Learn & Earn" financial education classes.
$100 minimum deposit
Minimum deposit to open the DREAM share certificate is $100; youth must also have a $5 member share account with NuVista.
Additional deposits welcome
Additional deposits can be made throughout the 12-month term of the Share Certificate.
Early withdrawal penalty
There will be a penalty for early withdrawal of funds prior to the 12-month date of maturity.
Personalized financial coaching
During their in-person meeting, youth are encouraged to identify a specific DREAM and, with coaching from NuVista, create a plan to reach their DREAM.
Periodic check-ins
Periodic check-ins are available to help keep youth on track toward their financial goals.
Learn & Earn opportunities
TEENS can earn deposits from NuVista by attending FREE in-person Financial Literacy classes ($50 per) and/or completing FREE on-line course ($25 per) with MoneyEdu. Maximum of $150 can be earned through "Learn & Earn" opportunities.
