Student Resources for the 2026 Bite of Reality Financial Fair

Welcome Seniors!  We are so excited to share this Bite of Reality with you!

WHEN & WHERE?

• Thursday, March 19th is the day of the event
• Time: 8:30 am - 11:30 am (Donuts & Coffee at 8:30 am, please be in the bleachers by 9:00 am)
• Montrose High School Lloyd McMillan Gym

This will be an in-person event AND you will need to download the Bite of Reality App PRIOR to arriving .

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU ARRIVE...

When you arrive at the Montrose High School Lloyd McMillan Gym, grab a donut and find a seat on the bleachers and wait for instructions on how to proceed through the Reality Fair.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU COMPLETE THE STEPS
Once you have completed the steps, return to the bleachers and wait for a group final instructions and event recap.

WHAT TO DO AFTER THE EVENT...
After the event, you will need to complete the survey. Below is the QR Code to the Survey:

You must do this to be eligible for the scholarships and giveaways.  Your counselors will be checking for completion.

SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
 

You can win some $$$$...Students will be eligible to apply for $1000 scholarships by participating in the 2026 Reality Fair.  If you are planning to attend school: either a Technical School, University, or College in the Fall of 2026 and will incur tuition costs, we encourage you to apply.  Please complete this scholarship application by Monday, April 13th.  Then email the application and your essay to kcline@nuvista.org . For those that are not going to attend school in the Fall, don't worry, you have the chance to win some prizes at the event!

AFTER EVENT LEARNING OPPORTUNITY - Money EDU
You can earn some additional $$$$...just by taking the time to learn a bit more!
