Effective August 4th - New Debit and Credit Card Security Features

Starting August 4th, 2021!

NuVista will roll out Debit and Credit Card Fraud Notifications via Text Alerts.

It is very important that you keep your contact information up to date.  Next time you come in or call, please confirm that we do have your most current contact information.

In the past, if there was a question related to possible fraud on your NuVista Debit or Credit Card, Members were notified by a phone call.  Effective August 4th, 2021 our Card Member Security Department is adding Text Alerts for Fraud Notification.

Sample Text Alerts

  • The text message includes the following transaction detail: Date, last four digits of card, dollar amount, merchant name, and location.

  • If you performed the transaction, you should reply YES.

  • If you did not perform the transaction, you should reply NO.

  • If you reply HELP, you will be directed to call Card Member Security.

  • If you reply STOP, you will be opted out of Text Notification.  If you opt out of Text Notifications, you will still receive calls from the automated dialer.
